Bearish market

When the market evolves downwards, the market is called bearish - from the English bear.

The bearish market gets its name because of the way the bear attacks its prey from top to bottom - in a downward trajectory. A significant drop in stock indices is considered a sign of entry into a bearish market.

In the case of structured products, a bearish product allows you to participate in the decline of the underlying while recovering all or part of this decline in positive performance.
