Feefty Plus

Upfront

A type of fee taken when issuing a structured product.

The upfront refers to the total fees taken by the various intermediaries when issuing a structured product.

While fees are in addition to the amount invested in most financial products, fees for structured products are directly integrated into the initial capital and therefore impact returns. For example, if the sum of fees is 5%, only 95% of the starting sum will be invested in the product.
