Strike

The strike designates the exercise price of an option, which corresponds to the price set in the contract for the acquisition or transfer of the underlying asset.

The strike is the level of the underlying on the initial observation date of the product. It is decisive because it conditions the future performance of the structured product. Indeed, this retained level becomes the reference level for all the options making up the product and in particular for the capital protection barrier, the coupon barrier or even the early call barrier.

There are several types of strike, more or less expensive depending on the advantage it provides to the investor.
